PB&J's was founded by high school sweethearts Tina and Jason North.  In 2005, while Tina and Jason were hiking the Appalachian Trail, they were given the trail names PB and J.  After coming off the trail, they were blessed with 2 little ones and purchased a home to raise them. Tina started caring for a few children so that she could be at home with hers.  After a couple of years, seeing a need for quality childcare in their community, Tina and Jason decided to go into business together.  In 2011, they opened their home and PB&J's Family Child Care was in business.
 
In 2013, they renovated an adjacent building to accommodate 3 classrooms. They moved the care of the children out of their home, added a pre-k program and began their journey as PB&J's Child Care and Learning Center.  They were working with some amazing staff and the business continued to grow.  In 2017 they expanded one more time by moving off property to create 2 more classrooms in the house.
 
Over the years Tina and Jason, along with their amazing staff, have cared for hundreds of children and families. They provided a fun and loving learning experience for each child in their classroom.  In 2025, Tina and Jason decided to end their journey at PB&J's Child Care and Learning Center to find out what their next adventure was going to be.  The ownership was transferred to Danielle Pike.
